Beth Barry: The Interior Horizon

Beth Barry’s solo exhibition, The Interior Horizon, explores the connection between the landscapes around us and the feelings they evoke.

Solo Exhibition|October 2-31
Opening Reception|Friday, October 2, 5-7 PM

The Interior Horizon brings together recent paintings that express Beth Barry’s sense of wonder in the presence of nature. Through atmospheric color and expressive brushwork, she captures the energy of shifting light, the feeling of movement, and the expansiveness of the landscape.

Her paintings move beyond recognizable views to explore how a place can stir memory, emotion, and imagination. Working with spontaneity and gesture, Barry creates compositions that feel both intimate and expansive, inviting viewers to discover their own connections to the natural world.

This exhibition also marks a homecoming. Raised along the Massachusetts SouthCoast, Barry traces her fascination with light and scale to the Atlantic waters, harbor views, and open horizons of her childhood. Exhibiting in Dartmouth brings these paintings back to the coastal surroundings that first shaped her way of seeing.

Admission is free.
